About Framework Physical Therapy & Dance Medicine
Natalie Imrisek holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Columbia University and is currently completing her Doctorate in Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE). With over two decades of experience specializing exclusively in dancers and performing artists, Natalie brings an unmatched combination of clinical expertise and deep understanding of the performing arts world. Natalie spent 9 years in New York City working with Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, dance companies, and performing artists before relocating to Los Angeles in 2012. Since then, she has become a trusted provider for some of LA's most respected dance organizations including LA Dance Project, LA Ballet, American Contemporary Ballet, Genesis, Soul to Soul Dance Convention, and West Side Dance Academy. She serves as Adjunct Faculty at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), providing on-site physical therapy care and education to the dancers. Natalie is now integrating Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) into her practice — an evidence-based approach that empowers performers to better understand pain, reduce fear-avoidance behaviors, and build sustainable, long-lasting careers. She is embarking on a new platform called, Restore Within — Weekly Online Classes. As part of her commitment to accessible, performer-centered care, Natalie offers Restore Within — a weekly online class series designed specifically for dancers and performing artists. These live virtual sessions blend movement science, pain neuroscience education, and mindful body awareness to help performers: * Understand and reframe their relationship with pain * Restore functional movement patterns * Build resilience and longevity in their performing careers * Reconnect with their bodies beyond the demands of performance
