I’m Stephanie, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to the lives they love. My path into physical therapy started at the University of Michigan, where I earned my undergraduate degree while playing four years of Division I water polo. If you went to Michigan, you know all about The Victors — but even if you didn’t, that mindset has shaped the way I approach patient care. I believe everyone deserves to feel like a victor in their own recovery journey. After Michigan, I headed to the University of Southern California to earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, combining my love for movement science with a deeper understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation and whole-body function. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong orthopedic background treating a wide range of conditions, from sports injuries and post-surgical recovery to general movement dysfunction. I also specialize in working with individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and hypermobility disorders — a patient population that is deeply underserved and often misunderstood. I understand that hypermobility is about so much more than being “flexible.” It can impact stability, strength, pain, fatigue, confidence, and day-to-day function. My goal is to help patients better understand their bodies, improve joint stability and movement patterns, and feel empowered in their everyday lives. I take an individualized approach that focuses on the root cause of symptoms rather than simply chasing pain from one area to another. Whether you’re an athlete trying to return to your sport, a busy parent wanting to keep up with your kids, or someone who simply wants to move through life with less pain and more confidence, I’m committed to helping you get there. I believe physical therapy should be collaborative, encouraging, and personalized — not a one-size-fits-all experience.
